EL AZKENA ROCK LLEGA A SU FIN 2ª PARTE

Publicado: 3/08/2011

I have to finish this report is as though the only thing that kept me tied to the memory of the festival, I have to finish it. Later we see part of the Bright Eyes concert, sound great, tasty southern sound to hear more after Gregg. Then we passed the stage where they were playing Monster The Knocknouts Swedes, their fast rockabilly entertained us for a while, were the perfect lead for what we would come next.

The last night of the festival. After a great afternoon concert we realize that this is ending. We walked to the main stage as we speak of the lived so far, we put ourselves in the same place three days earlier years (we feel this is our corner).Tap to see one of the best guitarists in history, neither more nor less than Brian Setzer. Again the sound so bad to suffer seeing playing his guitar Gretsch Setzer green and it costs us to recognize the sound, it is a shame. The first part of the show leaves us a bit stunned, we all expected something more than to see him accompanied by bass and drums. Sounds like the Stray Cats but they are not and the pace is a little off. Suddenly when we least expect Brian S. take his Gretsch guitar (with dice) and your vocal chords sound Strut Stray Cats, then jumps onto the stage like a madman Slim Jim Phantom, an apotheosis when, all screaming and dancing to the rhythm of the Stray Cats .... Yeah ... A great concert, good pace Rockbilly touched neither more nor less than Brian Setzer and Slim Jim .... We kept dancing and singing their songs, we live magical moments, enjoying what is probably the best guitarist in rock history.

The Festival is ending so unbeatable ....

Sweaty after a long hot afternoon of rock & roll decided to go to rest, yes ... we will miss Paul Weller but after really lived up to the moment, I sincerely do not give me grief. Before heading to the store to see a little Whybirds does not sound bad enough American style rocker, but good our bodies need to be cooled so goodbye. After get a new t-shirts, eat and drink, pull back miles to the festival, plays a pilgrimage back to the main stage, it's time to see Thin Lizzy.

Is it time to lament the fall lineup late in Glen Danzig, no doubt if it would be a final Glen festival in style. Now we have a so-called good band Thin Lizzy. I'm not saying not worth it to see, especially enjoying issues Thin Lizzy live, plus the singer is very good. But they are being or pseudobanda, and although by now I am more than satisfied by this great Azkena 2011, I think the end is not the most appropriate.

Thin Lizzy The story: The singer presents bassist who speaks good Spanish Mexican hahaha, and uncle all excited and yells angrily presents: "Good evening and thank you very much Bilbao", lol and started playing all milk taking off her shirt ... The face that was all we were was a poem (we're in Vitoria), then to laugh ... obviously all the great fiascos reminded of Spinal Tap hahaha ... Well, it was a fun concert, but not the best of the festival and I obviouslyhonestly would not have to be the end of the tenth anniversary. Shame about Danzig and above all could not be a Motorhead such as during the festival could enjoy a photo exhibition about the group, many thought would be a surprise on the last day, a penalty. And this is over ... we have experienced all sorts of situations, good and bad, but always highlight the good .... Azkena and Vitoria from about 5 years ago is part of our lives, as soon as one ends we are already talking about next year and the next edition. I do not roll much, but as you say it will throw the next 2012 miles to Vitoria-Gasteiz with intent to relive historic moments, who knows if Tom Petty to come ....

Greetings to all.
